Customize outline numbering for table of contents Although correct for outlines, using roman numerals for the table of contents is rather odd. Rotate the numbering scheme to make the table of contents look less strange.
new front page
css: max line length Set the maximum line length to about 80 characters to make the wiki easier to read on wide windows. The excessively long lines are hard to read, and people have been putting line breaks in the pages because of this. Instead of sprinkling <br/> (or markdown lines ending in two spaces) everywhere, use css to make the lines a reasonable length.
index: formatting Clean up the formatting on the front page and fix a broken link.
attempt to improve legibility Reduce left margin, reduce the font size, and increase the line height.
Evenly space slash separator Make the slash separating page heading levels evenly spaced on the left and right (currently there is a space after it, but not before). Do this via some css fudging, so we don't need to change ikiwiki templates or anything. The degree to which the uneven slashes bother me is probably irrational, so if anyone strongly disagrees with this, feel free to revert and I can just do this locally.
