Is the padlock locked? Then you do not need [[KerberosV]]. Otherwise, if there is a small red cross over it, try clicking the padlock.

If you get a screen like the one above, you can skip [[KerberosV]]. If it says "You do not have tokens within any AFS cell", you press "Obtain New Tokens...".
If you get an error at this time, you (probably) need to have [[KerberosV]] installed. Often, the Credentials Manager complains the "Authentication Server was unavailable", or something similar.
