  35 <P><STRONG>Description</STRONG>
  36 <P>The <B>pts listowned</B> command lists the groups owned by each user or
  37 group specified by the <B>-nameorid</B> argument.
  38 <P>To list any <I>orphaned group</I>s, whose owners have themselves been
  39 deleted from the Protection Database, provide a value of <B>0</B> (zero)
  40 for the <B>-nameorid</B> argument. To change the owner to a user or
  41 group that still exists, use the <B>pts chown</B> command.
  42 <P><STRONG>Options</STRONG>
  43 <DL>
  44 <P><DT><B>-nameorid
  45 </B><DD>Specifies the name or AFS UID of each user, or the name or AFS GID of each
  46 group, for which to display the list of owned groups. It is acceptable
  47 to mix users and groups on the same command line, as well as names and
  48 IDs. Precede the GID of each group with a hyphen to indicate that it is
  49 negative.
  50 <P>A value of <B>0</B> (zero) lists group entries for groups whose owners
  51 no longer have entries in the Protection Database.
  52 <P><DT><B>-cell
  53 </B><DD>Names the cell in which to run the command. For more details, see
  54 the introductory <B>pts</B> reference page.
  55 <P><DT><B>-noauth
  56 </B><DD>Assigns the unprivileged identity <B>anonymous</B> to the
  57 issuer. For more details, see the introductory <B>pts</B> reference
  58 page.
  59 <P><DT><B>-force
  60 </B><DD>Enables the command to continue executing as far as possible when errors
  61 or other problems occur, rather than halting execution at the first
  62 error.
  63 <P><DT><B>-help
  64 </B><DD>Prints the online help for this command. All other valid options
  65 are ignored.

  67 <P><STRONG>Output</STRONG>
  68 <P>The first line of the output indicates the name and AFS UID or AFS GID of
  69 each user or group for which ownership information is requested, in the
  70 following format:
  71 <PRE>   Groups owned by <VAR>name</VAR> (id: <VAR>ID</VAR>) are:

  74 <P>A list of groups follows. The list does not include groups owned by
  75 groups that the user or group owns, or to which the user or group
  76 belongs. If the user or group does not own any groups, only the header
  77 line appears.
  78 <P>The following error message appears if the issuer is not privileged to view
  79 ownership information. By default, for both user and group entries the
  80 second privacy flag is the hyphen, which denies permission to anyone other
  81 than the user (for a user entry) and the members of the
  82 <B>system:administrators</B> group.

  87 <P>The following example lists the groups owned by user <B>terry</B> and
  88 shows that the group <B>terry:friends</B> does not own any

  98 <P><STRONG>Privilege Required</STRONG>
  99 <P>The required privilege depends on the setting of the second privacy flag in
 100 the Protection Database entry of each user or group indicated by the
 101 <B>-nameorid</B> argument (use the <B>pts examine</B> command to
 102 display the flags):

 104 <P><LI>If it is the hyphen and the <B>-nameorid</B> argument specifies a
 105 group, only the members of the <B>system:administrators</B> group
 106 and the owner of a group can list the groups it owns.
 107 <P><LI>If it is the hyphen and the <B>-nameorid</B> argument specifies a
 108 user, only the members of the <B>system:administrators</B> group and
 109 the associated user can list the groups he or she owns.
 110 <P><LI>If it is uppercase letter <TT>O</TT>, anyone who can access the
 111 cell's database server machines can list the groups owned by this user or
 112 group.
