23 <para>The <emphasis role="bold">bos delete</emphasis> command removes the <replaceable>/usr/afs/local/BosConfig</replaceable> entry
24 for each process indicated by the <emphasis role="bold">-instance</emphasis> argument, on the server
25 machine named by the <emphasis role="bold">-server</emphasis> argument.</para>
27 <para>Before issuing this command, issue the bos stop command to stop the
28 process and set its status flag in the <replaceable>BosConfig</replaceable> file to <computeroutput>NotRun</computeroutput>. The
29 <emphasis role="bold">bos delete</emphasis> command fails with an error message if a process's status
30 flag is <computeroutput>Run</computeroutput>.</para>
